Inadvertising as a concept is where the promoter does not control the mode of communication of the product some times not even the content. The growth of the fashion industry along side the movie industry was started because of inadvertising and has now grown into a fruitful partnership. Dev anand's cap in the movie guide became a produc of legend which was not an endorsement . Inadvertising is the ability to make the product knowledge available in the public domain and wait for some one of note to appriciate and endorse it .
